I teach and
facilitate a number of workshops, as well as give presentations on adolescence
and my material. The only thing more interesting than working with teens
is teaching about them. Below are links to pages explaining the workshops
and presentations I do. Most of my material is modular, so to speak, so
that it can be mixed and matched, or broken down into smaller or individual
components. Also, most material is appropriate for anyone, and I mean
ANYONE, who works with adolescents: Foster parents, group home or
residential staff, teachers, case or social workers, therapists, and of course,
good old-fashioned biological parents.

The Hero's Journey is a classic,
archetypal model for helping teens through adolescence and into manhood
or womanhood. Used across the globe and throughout millennia, the
Hero's Journey can be used to track individuals, or it can be woven into
treatment models. |
