Original Adaptations

'G' for Gangster

Georgetown
The original navy blue hat was used,
 and still is, to claim oneself as a gangster

Georgia
The orange didn't matter much 
but the gangs like anything that starts with 'G'.

In the beginning, so to speak, gangs had to take available apparel and adapt it to their needs.  Anything with a 'G' would work for 'Gangster.'  Below you will see how existing logos and acronyms were used regardless of color hat.
